AMD's Latest Powerful Graphics Card: AMD Radeon R9 290X Specifications, Price, and Benchmarks

Just recently, AMD announced their new graphics card line-up that will be more better and stronger. Gamers and specially computer enthusiasts are surprise with its latest technology, the R7 and the R9 series. This cards are also used on Xbox one and PS4 consoles.

Reports and reviews said that this R9 290x is a ULTRA-HIGH-END video card that can be compared to NVIDIA's GTX Titan. In some benchmarks from tomshardware.com, R9 290x beats GTX Titan in some games and Titan does also beat 290x, it only shows a fair comparison between the two.

The new display technology developed by japan is the 4k TV's, in the R9 290x, you don't have to worry anymore because if you plan on having a 4K TV, R9 290x already supports it.

Goodbye Crossfire Bridge Connector

AMD's crossfire bridge will now say goodbye if you are using Radeon R9 series video cards. It only means that you don't need to use crossfire bridge just to setup AMD Crossfire. You can already set-up the crossfire settings in the catalyst control center.
